The native utility token of BelizeChain. DALLA powers every transaction, secures the network through staking, and gives holders a direct voice in on-chain governance.
Utility
Transaction Fees
Every on-chain transaction — transfers, smart contract calls, pallet extrinsics — requires DALLA for gas. A portion of fees is burned, creating deflationary pressure.
Validator Staking
Validators must stake DALLA to participate in block production. The Staking pallet enforces minimum stake requirements and distributes era rewards in DALLA.
Governance Voting
DALLA holders vote on proposals through the Governance pallet. Conviction voting allows longer lock-up periods to amplify voting weight.
Smart Contract Gas
GEM smart contracts (ink! PSP22, PSP34, DAO, Faucet) consume DALLA for execution. The Contracts pallet meters gas and charges DALLA accordingly.
PoUW Rewards
Validators earn DALLA by contributing useful compute work — AI training tasks for Nawal and quantum circuit execution for Kinich — not wasted hash cycles.
Treasury Funding
A slice of transaction fees and minting goes to the on-chain treasury, governed by DALLA holders to fund ecosystem development, grants, and community initiatives.
