Proposals
Governance proposals are the primary mechanism for community-driven decision making on BelizeChain. Any DALLA holder can submit, second, and vote on proposals that shape the network.
Proposal Types
Runtime Upgrades
Propose changes to the blockchain runtime — new pallets, parameter adjustments, bug fixes. Enacted without a hard fork via Substrate's forkless upgrade system.
Treasury Spending
Request DALLA from the on-chain treasury for ecosystem development, infrastructure projects, or community initiatives.
Parameter Changes
Adjust network parameters such as block weights, fee multipliers, staking rewards, or consensus thresholds through governance votes.
Community Grants
Fund developer grants, educational programs, local initiatives, and open source contributions through the Community pallet.
Emergency Actions
Fast-tracked proposals for critical security fixes or urgent network updates that require rapid community response.
Cross-Chain Governance
Proposals affecting interoperability settings, bridge configurations, and XCM channel management with partner networks.
