Validators
Validators are the backbone of BelizeChain. They produce blocks, validate transactions, and contribute useful compute work through the PoUW consensus mechanism — earning DALLA rewards in return.
Validator Responsibilities
Block Production
Validators produce blocks every 6 seconds, validating transactions and maintaining the integrity of the BelizeChain network.
Proof of Useful Work
Instead of wasting energy on hash puzzles, validators contribute useful compute — AI training for Nawal and quantum circuits for Kinich.
DALLA Staking
Stake DALLA through the Staking pallet to participate as a validator. Higher stakes increase your chance of entering the active validator set.
Nomination
Nominators delegate DALLA to trusted validators, sharing in block rewards without running infrastructure. Back the validators you trust.
Era-Based Elections
The active validator set is elected each era based on total stake. Performance and uptime affect a validator's reputation and nominations.
Slashing Protection
Validators who act maliciously or go offline risk slashing — a portion of their staked DALLA is forfeited as a penalty.
